Youth Issue
NZ born Chinese can’t read Chinese, they are losing their mother language day by day. It causes them to lose bonding with the older generation in the family and cannot understand information displayed when they travel to China.
Solution
My solution is to design a A5 size booklet with simple 'find the hidden Chinese characters in the pictures of Chinese legends' game and attached with physical flashcards of individual characters to encourage Chinese parents/grandparents helping young Chinese Kiwi pick up the interest of reading and writing in Chinese.
